Hello.
I graduated in 2012 in a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication (First Class Honours) & Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with sub majors in Textile Design and Japanese at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
I like design that is aesthetically beautiful but also when it delves deeper, like solving a problem, changing attitudes and behaviours. My design work mirrors this by creating designs that are meaningful.
I am a self – professed design research lover! I’m primarily concerned with the relationship and experience between designer and audience with design, especially in spatial environments, interiors and architecture. This has informed my strong and growing passion for environmental graphics, signage, wayfinding and information design.
However, this interest for the relationship and experience between designer and audience extends to the user experience within the realms of all mediums of graphic design, from print, to websites and even the notion of a brand identity or logo.
As a further aid to interactivity I have a particular interest in tactility and a hands on approach, which stems from my love for fashion and textiles. I also enjoy working with typography across all forms of graphic design.
I'm a perfectionist. I’m also always looking and wanting to learn new skills, new areas of design and experiment with different mediums when possible, as well as the opportunity to work and collaborate with creative like-minded people, both within graphic design and other areas of design!
